ActivEV Pulse With FJ Controller

1. Locate the controller

The controller on the Pulse is accessed from the passenger side of the vehicle and is mounted in the battery bay. There is a small plastic cover that can be removed for better access, but it is not required. You can also see around it by looking in at an angle

 

2. Access the controller

If you choose to remove the cover, it is held on with three screws. One of the screws is under the foam weatherstripping near the tow/run switch. You can locate it by pressing down on the foam with your finger until you feel the screw head.

 

3. Observe & Identify The Controller

Once you've located the controller its not too hard to get eyes on it. The controller in this model vehicle (2026) is the FJ 350a.

 

4. Locate & Identify Programming Port

On the Pulse cart the programming port will be located near the controller cables coming out of the controller box. It should be zip-tied close to the other bundle of connectors. The programming port is a white, square, 4-pin connector.

 

Now that we have identified the controller in your vehicle we can take a look at the required equipment to connect to the vehicle and make your desired changes.

5. Programming Cable

To establish a connection with the FJ controller in your Pulse golf cart you will need to use CartCables part # . It can be purchased COMING SOON

 

6. Programming Software

In addition to the programming cable you will need to have a copy of the "FJ Programming Tool" software loaded on your pc. WE DO NOT PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE.
