EVolution D5 2+2 Controller ID Guide

EVolution uses three different models of Evolution-branded controllers in their D5 vehicles. It’s important to know which model is in your vehicle, as this determines the equipment needed to access and adjust the controller's settings. Below, we will show the different types of controllers and how to identify which one you have.

1. Access & Identify The Controller

The controller on the D5 2+2 is mounted under the black plastic cover between the front and rear seat. The cover can easily be removed by pushing on the 2 latches and lifting up.

2. Check the controller model number

The model number can be found on the product label located on the side of the controller. Typically, it is on the same side as the 35-pin multi-connector, but in some cases, it may be on the opposite end. It maybe tight to see the label but you should be able to get your cellphone back there and tack a picture if your label is on the backside. EV48-400-C Model Shown Above.

5. Locate Controller Model Number - EV48-400

EV48-400 Model Controller Pictured Above. For programming purposes, the EV48-400 and EV48-400-A are identical and use the same cables and software.
